Schooling Joseph chronicles Joseph Schooling’s swim to superstardom, from its start in Singapore to his sojourn in the United States for training and finally culminating in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. The story is a study of the swimmer’s secret to success, and includes interviews and photographs of the swimmer and his friends and family.
In 2016, Joseph Schooling became Singapore’s first Olympic gold medalist, clinching gold in the Rio Olympics 100m butterfly. Beating world-class competition, including legendary American Swimmer Michael Phelps and also smashing the Olympic record with his time of 50.39 seconds, Schooling became a national hero overnight.
